– Shot peening makes the connecting rod stronger and less susceptible to corrosion
– Double bore at the bottom of the connecting rod (maximum lubrication and life extension of the bearing additional cooling of the piston pin)
– Thrust washers are coated with bronze; oil can bind better, friction between connecting rod, washer and shaft is reduced
